Senior Backend Developer (Laravel + Python, AI Tools)

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable backend systems using

  Laravel

  and

  Python

• Optimize APIs and database structures for performance and maintainability
• Use

  AI-powered coding tools

  (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to speed up delivery
• Lead a team of junior developers, assign tasks, conduct code reviews, and mentor as needed
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams for seamless deployments
• Integrate external APIs and develop internal services
• Maintain documentation, ensure code quality, and manage technical risks

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development experience in

  Laravel

  and

  Python

• Solid experience in

  RESTful APIs, queues, schedulers, and DB optimization

• Strong command over

  MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB

• Practical experience using

  AI development tools

  to enhance workflow
• Familiarity with

  Docker, Git, CI/CD

  , and cloud infrastructure
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Bonus Points:

• Experience integrating with AI APIs (OpenAI, LangChain, etc.)
• Exposure to microservices or event-driven systems
• Background in performance tuning or high-traffic applications
