Senior Backend Developer

About the Role We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Developer with 1-3 years of experience in Python/Django to join our team. This role involves designing and developing scalable web applications, building secure and efficient APIs, and optimizing backend services. Responsibilities ● Develop and maintain Django REST APIs . ● Implement JWT-based authentication and Google OAuth login . ● Work with PostgreSQL and manage data using Django ORM. ● Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services. ● Ensure RESTful API best practices, including proper error handling and validation. ● Implement role-based access control (RBAC). ● Use Celery and Redis for background tasks. ● Deploy applications on Heroku/Vercel/AWS. ● Write and maintain unit tests for API endpoints. ● Use Docker to containerize applications. Requirements ● 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python and Django. ● Strong experience with Django REST Framework (DRF). ● Proficiency in PostgreSQL and database schema design. ● Experience with JWT authentication and Google OAuth. ● Knowledge of Celery and Redis for background processing. ● Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments. ● Experience deploying applications to Heroku/Vercel/AWS. ● Understanding of security best practices (SQL injection, CSRF, authentication, etc.). ● Experience with unit testing using Django’s test framework or pytest. Nice to Have ● Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. ● Understanding of GraphQL.
