Senior Azure Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Azure Engineer (L2) to support and manage US-based cloud projects from offshore. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Azure administration, troubleshooting, and cloud infrastructure, along with proven expertise in on-prem to cloud and cloud-to-cloud migrations. This role requires working during US time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Azure cloud infrastructure across US-based projects.
• Lead and support on-prem to Azure migrations and cloud-to-cloud migrations.
• Manage Azure VMs, storage accounts, networking components, and security configurations.
• Handle incident management, service requests, and escalations as per SLAs.
• Administer Azure AD, identity management, RBAC, and access controls.
• Support backup, recovery, DR, and high-availability operations.
• Troubleshoot Azure networking (VNet, Subnets, NSG, LB, VPN, connectivity issues).
• Collaborate with US project teams, L3 engineers, and DevOps for complex escalations.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, runbooks, and SOPs for project support.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical inputs and updates.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as an Azure Administrator/Engineer in L2 support.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• Azure VM deployments and administration
• Azure Networking (VNet, Subnets, NSG, Load Balancer, VPN)
• Azure AD, IAM, RBAC
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics
• Backup & DR solutions
• Mandatory experience in cloud migrations:
• On-prem to Azure migrations
• Azure-to-Azure (cloud-to-cloud) migrations
• Server, application, or workload migrations
• Good knowledge of O365, Windows Servers, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience working on US-based projects or with international clients (preferred).
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
