Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable DevOps solutions in Microsoft Azure. This role requires deep experience in CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, cloud architecture, and mentoring teams in DevOps best practices. You will play a key role in shaping our DevOps strategy and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our development pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps across multiple environments.

• Architect and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).

• Define DevOps standards, strategies, and best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to enable efficient development and deployment lifecycles

• Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Optimize pipeline performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Guide and mentor junior DevOps engineers and developers on tools, automation, and cloud adoption

• Monitor and maintain system reliability and performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and App Insights.

• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards through automated checks and reporting.

• Support incident management and root cause analysis for deployment or infrastructure issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.

• Expert-level experience with Azure DevOps tools (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts).

• Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. • Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

• Proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, AKS, Helm).

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance within Azure.

• Experience integrating automated testing, security scanning, and compliance tools into CI/CD pipelines. • Working knowledge of source control strategies using Git and branching models.

• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident response in production environments.
