Job Title: Senior Azure Data Engineer

Experience: 6+ yrs

Location: Hyderabad or Bangalore or Indore (Hybrid), 3:30pm to 12:30pm

Job Description (Job Summary/Roles & Responsibilities):

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure data services.

• Write and optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and reliability.

• Leverage Apache Spark for large-scale data processing and transformation.

• Implement Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) within Azure Fabric Lakehouse

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and compliance across platforms.

• Collaborate with stakeholders including data analysts, business users, and architects to deliver high-quality data solutions.

• Contribute to best practices, performance tuning, and process improvements within the data engineering team.

Mandatory Skills:

• 6–9 years of professional experience in data engineering roles.

• Strong hands-on expertise with T-SQL and database development.

•Proficiency in developing and managing stored procedures. • Solid experience working with Apache Spark for data transformations.

•Proven track record of implementing Medallion architecture and working with Azure Fabric Lakehouse.'

•Strong understanding of data modelling, performance tuning, and ETL processes.

Desired Skills:

•Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics for enterprise-scale data warehousing.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data solutions in Azure.

• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and monitoring in cloud-based environments.
