Senior Azure Data Engineer

As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, your role will involve designing and implementing data pipelines using Azure Synapse from a variety of data sources and file formats into SQL Server database. You will also be responsible for implementing batch and real-time data pipelines from various sources to the data warehouse and data lake. Working with the Data Architect on new data projects by building data pipelines and master data management will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will perform data analysis, extraction, cleansing, column-mapping, data transformations, and data modeling based on business requirements. Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines to ensure data availability on Azure SQL Datawarehouse will also be part of your duties. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Synapse - Implement batch and real-time data pipelines from various sources - Work on new data projects with the Data Architect - Perform data analysis, extraction, cleansing, and data modeling - Ensure data availability on Azure SQL Datawarehouse Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in ETL pipelines in Azure Synapse or Azure Data Factory - Hands-on experience with Azure services such as ADLS2, Databricks, Azure SQL, and Logic Apps - Strong implementation knowledge in Pyspark and Advanced SQL for data transformations - Experience with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data formats - Understanding of data warehouse, data lake modeling, and ETL performance optimization - Good to have working knowledge in consuming APIs in ETL pipelines - Good to have working knowledge of PowerBI and Manufacturing Data Analytics & Reporting - Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, computer science, or related disciplines Join our global, inclusive, and diverse team where our purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through innovative motion systems.
