Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Azure Data Engineer

to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions on the

Microsoft Azure platform

. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in

Azure Data Services, Databricks, and modern data engineering practices

, enabling efficient and secure data-driven insights across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize
end-to-end data pipelines and workflows
on Azure Data Platform.
Develop scalable data solutions using
Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse Analytics
.
Collaborate with
business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders
to define and deliver on data requirements.
Ensure
data quality, integrity, governance, and security
across multiple data sources and systems.
Perform
data modeling, ETL/ELT development
, and performance tuning for large-scale systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve
production data issues
, optimizing solutions for scalability and cost efficiency.
Mentor
junior data engineers
and provide technical guidance to the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years
of experience in
Data Engineering or related roles
.
Strong expertise in
Azure Data Services
, including:
- Azure Data Lake
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Synapse Analytics
Hands-on experience with
Databricks
and
Apache Spark
for data processing.
Strong proficiency in
Python
,
SQL
, and scripting for automation and data transformation.
Solid understanding of
ETL/ELT
,
data modeling
, and
data warehousing concepts
.
Experience implementing
CI/CD pipelines
for data workflows and cloud deployments.
Excellent
problem-solving, analytical
, and
communication
skills.
