About The Role Technical Skills Expertise in SQL coding Hands-on experience using Microsoft SQL Servers, Visual Studio, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Experience writing Stored Procedures Architect level experience leveraging Azure StoragesADLS Gen2-Blobs, Containers, Architect level experience leveraging Azure Data Ingestion toolsAzure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Event Hubs, Azure IoT Hubs, Azure Event Grid Architect level experience using Azure Data Prep/Train toolsAzure Databricks (ADB), Azure Stream Analytics, Developer experience using Azure DatabasesSQL databases, SQL servers, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Dedicated SQL Pools, SQL Elastic Pools, etc., Experience using Azure DevOpsRepos, CI/CD Pipelines, Test Plans, Strong experience with NoSQL implementation (Mongo, Cassandra, Cosmos) Hands-on experience using Big Data technologies likesSpark, PySpark, Apache NiFi, RServer Studio, Alteryx, Azure Machine Learning, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Strong experience in scripting languages (Perl, JavaScript, Shell) Well versed in Programming languages like Python, Scala, R, Java, SQL, etc., Experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting Experience with any of the following message / file formatsParquet, Avro, ORC Protobuf Experience with version control systems like Git Strong experience building BI reports, data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI Qualifications Master's or Bachelor's Degree with coursework focused on Data & Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, advanced algorithms, mathematics in computing, data structures, etc. Minimum 10 years of experience in the IT function Minimum 7 years of experience working on Data and Analytics projects Minimum 5 years of experience working on Advanced Analytics projects leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts Minimum 5 years of experience working on Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform etc.) and any Cloud certifications (e.g. Azure Data Engineer Associate Certification) preferred Minimum 3 years of experience working on Data projects in an Agile environment and good to have any Agile (SAFe, ACP, CSM, CSPO, etc.) certifications Good to have previous Convenience Store/Petroleum industry experience Good to have previous Marketing, Loyalty, Digital Guest Experience Business domain knowledge
