About the Job Role

We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with a deep understanding of AWS cloud services, specifically in VPC, Compute, Lambda, S3, AWS Core Networking Services such as Transit Gateway, Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), Amazon Route 53, AWS Private Link & Direct Connect and EKS. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in architecting, deploying, and managing scalable cloud solutions. AWS Certification is a plus and demonstrates an additional level of expertise in AWS best practices and cloud-native solutions. Key Responsibilities ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Architecture & Deployment: Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure using core AWS services. - VPC & Networking: Configure and manage AWS VPCs, subnets, route tables, NACLs, and other core networking services to ensure network security and efficiency, as well as enable hybrid cloud setups as needed.

-Networking & Security: Implement and manage security policies, including VPC security, network ACLs, security groups, and identity and access management (IAM). Expertise in AWS network security practices, such as VPC peering, PrivateLink, VPNs, and firewall management, is essential.

-Troubleshooting & On-Call Support: Diagnose and resolve complex issues quickly and efficiently, including during critical escalations. This includes strong analytical and communication skills to address issues on the call with clients and internal teams.

- Serverless Computing: Utilize AWS Lambda to design event-driven architectures, automate workflows, and optimize cost efficiency for microservices.

- Kubernetes on AWS: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Amazon EKS, with a focus on scalability, security, and CI/CD integration.

- Storage Solutions: Design S3-based storage solutions to meet data management requirements, including lifecycle policies, cross-region replication, and encryption for data security.

- Monitoring & Optimization: Use AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Cost Explorer to monitor resource usage, performance, and cost, and to implement optimizations and recommendations from AWS Trusted Advisor.

- Security & Compliance: Implement IAM policies, security groups, and VPC configurations to maintain AWS best practices for security, compliance, and data protection.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): [Bonus] - Develop and manage infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK to automate provisioning and scaling of resources.

- Collaboration & Documentation: Work with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure seamless cloud operations, troubleshoot issues, and document best practices.

-Backup and Disaster Recovery: Set up backup, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerant solutions across various AWS services.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including VPC, Compute, Lambda, S3, and networking components. - Strong understanding of cloud networking and security principles within AWS. - Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and operational efficiency will be bonus. - Experience with container orchestration and deployment on EKS (or equivalent Kubernetes experience).Competitive Compensation

Preferred Skills & Certifications

- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) will be a bonus. - Experience with monitoring tools and logging frameworks (e.g., Site 24*7, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana). - Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

-Deep Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of network topologies, subnets, routing tables, and load balancing. Experience with AWS networking services, including ALB, NLB, VPC, and Global Accelerator.

-Troubleshooting Abilities: Exceptional diagnostic skills to quickly resolve connectivity, performance, and security issues on-the-fly during customer calls.
