Role & responsibilities

Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build test automation frameworks using Selenium and Rest Assured.
  
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for sanity, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  
• Use Postman and related tools for API testing and automation.
  
• Write complex SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure data integrity.
  
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify testable scenarios and build test plans.
  
• Identify, design, and capture test data required for testing.
  
• Participate in test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
  
• Contribute to test automation strategies and reusable test assets to improve testing efficiency.
  
• Participate in deployment preparation and validation of releases.
  
• Work across multiple projects in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  

Required Skills:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in automation testing.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with

  Selenium WebDriver

  and

  Rest Assured

  .
  
• Proficient in using

  Postman

  for manual and automated API testing.
  
• Strong command over

  SQL

  for test data creation and database validations.
  
• Experience in developing and maintaining test frameworks using

  Java, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle

  .
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like

  Jenkins, Git, Docker

  is a plus.
  
• Experience working in

  Agile/Scrum

  teams.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
