Senior Automation Test Engineer

Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright and Cypress. - Having knowledge of any AI Automation tool (like TestSigma etc) as an added advantage. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans. - Conducting API automation testing to verify the functionality and performance of backend services. - Executing automated tests, analyzing results, and identifying defects to enhance product quality. - Participating in code reviews and offering feedback to improve test automation practices. - Continuously enhancing testing processes and methodologies for increased efficiency and effectiveness. - Documenting test cases, test results, and defects clearly and concisely. - Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5 years of experience in software testing and automation. - Strong knowledge of automation testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium. - Experience in API automation testing and familiarity with tools like RestAssured, Postman, or similar. - Proficiency in programming languages including TypeScript, JavaScript, and Java. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Jenkins and Git. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
