Role & responsibilities Develop and Maintain Automated Test Scripts: Create and manage automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript for web applications. Build and Enhance Automation Frameworks : Develop and improve test automation frameworks that are scalable, maintainable, and efficient. Integrate with CI/CD Pipelines: Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Test Execution and Analysis : Execute automated tests, analyze results, report defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, QA analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into automated tests. Maintain Code Quality : Ensure high standards of code quality and follow best practices for test automation. Stay Up-to-Date: Keep up with the latest trends and advancements in test automation and propose improvements or new tools as needed. Preferred candidate profile Total 6+ years of IT experience. Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role. Proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript for web automation. Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks. Technical Skills: • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript. Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD. Understanding of test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
