Senior Auditor

As a Senior Auditor on the Asset Servicing International (ASI) Team within Audit Services, you will be responsible for leading and executing audit projects across ASI. Your duties will include conducting and documenting complex audits, demonstrating professional skepticism, finalizing planning documents, and collaborating closely with the Senior Audit Manager. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and execute multiple audits simultaneously - Conduct and document complex and high-risk audits - Apply analytical skills to review information and assess audit results - Work with the Senior Audit Manager to develop audit planning and execution strategy - Review work papers of audit team members to ensure compliance with standards - Communicate audit status to business unit and Audit Services management - Compile findings and recommendations for status updates, memos, and audit reports - Coordinate with other audit teams to ensure evaluations of related areas occur timely Qualifications Required: - 5 to 7 years of experience in internal audit in the financial services industry preferred - Comprehensive knowledge of internal audit processes and strong work paper documentation skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CISA, CIA, ACA, ACCA) preferred - General knowledge of operations, functions, and objectives of interfacing areas - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - College or University degree and/or auditing experience in a financial institution About Northern Trust: Northern Trust is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
