We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage end-to-end bookkeeping for Australian clients. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards, and supporting taxation and reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Manage BAS/IAS preparation and lodgment in line with ATO requirements. Process payroll, superannuation, and leave entitlements in compliance with Fair Work standards. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns . Handle GST reconciliations and ensure proper coding of transactions. Support SMSF bookkeeping and compliance reporting as required. Collaborate with accountants to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Maintain communication with clients regarding financial queries and updates. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (preferred). 1–3 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping . Proficiency in accounting software ( Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks ). Strong knowledge of Australian tax and compliance regulations . Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Conduct statutory, internal, and tax audits as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) and Companies Act, 2013. Review financial statements, ledgers, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Evaluate internal control systems and suggest improvements. Prepare audit reports highlighting findings, discrepancies, and recommendations. Assist in risk assessment, audit planning, and execution. Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other regulatory requirements. Coordinate with clients, management, and cross-functional teams to resolve queries. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. CA Inter / Qualified Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance (as per role level). Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws, auditing standards, and financial reporting. Proficiency in Tally, SAP, MS Excel, and other accounting/audit tools. Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and client management abilities.
