Senior Auditor - Expense Reporting

As a Senior Auditor - Expense Reporting at Medline, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in auditing employee expense reports. Your responsibilities will include: - Audit employee expense reports in Concur and Oversight, ensuring compliance with company policies, SOPs, SLAs, and tax regulations. - Review and approve reimbursement requests, making audit decisions, rejecting non-compliant expenses, and reclassifying expense types when necessary. - Validate receipts, expense categorization, and adherence to company guidelines. - Investigate non-compliant expenses, collaborate with leads, and escalate unresolved matters. - Manage day-to-day accounting functions such as journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger maintenance. - Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reporting to management on financial and compliance risks. - Support audit and accounting processes to align with business and compliance requirements. - Train and mentor junior auditors, drive accountability, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions. - Act as a key point of contact for employees and management regarding expense audit inquiries. - Update T&E audit SOPs, policies, and documentation to ensure transparency and continuous improvement. Your skills should include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work under pressure. A commerce graduate or business administration degree is required, with a preference for familiarity with Concur or similar expense management systems. With a minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience, your expertise in auditing and accounting processes will be crucial in this role. Experience with Oversight auditing tool would be a plus.
