Senior Auditor

As an Auditor for Artificial Intelligence/Generative AI Audit at American Express, you will play a crucial role in conducting impactful audits to ensure effective risk management across the organization. You will be a key member of the Internal Audit Group's Data Science and Model Risk group, focusing on AI/Generative AI specific audits. Your contributions will be essential to American Express's sustainable and responsible growth in the field of AI. - Participate in specialized audits focused on AI/Gen AI to assess the Company's AI/Gen AI governance, risk management framework, and supporting control processes. This includes evaluating governance, risk management, and controls related to the ideation, development, deployment, and monitoring of AI/Gen AI use cases. - Challenge the 1st line AI/Gen AI use case developers and 2nd line risk management teams effectively to identify, mitigate, and govern appropriate AI/Gen AI risks. - Evaluate results, synthesize audit findings, draft audit reports, and ensure efficient execution of audits in compliance with professional and department standards. - Assist team leaders in achieving team objectives and producing results. - Stay updated on the latest developments in AI/Gen AI technologies, ethical considerations, and regulatory requirements to adjust the audit coverage strategy accordingly. - Masters degree in artificial intelligence/machine learning, data science, statistics, financial engineering, or relevant fields.
