Job Description

As a Senior Associate in Sourcing and Procurement at Genpact, your role involves various responsibilities: - Review suppliers to be added to the supplier master database for duplication and gathering relevant data - Receive approval for supplier to be added, modified or deleted from the database per Client's policy - Capture the supplier set-up, maintenance, and adding and/or deletions and/or update notes in the system's audit trail - Provide the requesting Client stakeholder with a list of questions needed for supplier certification and approval upon receipt of new supplier request - Communicate with suppliers to coordinate initial upload and updates of financial information through the self-service supplier portal - Coordinate with Client to confirm that adding new suppliers aligns with category strategy - Process requests to cleanse and edit existing supplier data - Analyze non-strategic, transactional spend to identify repetitive buys at non-strategic suppliers for potential inclusion in strategic sourcing initiatives - Aggregate and report on data collected from supporting supplier data management and purchasing processes - Respond to internal Client inquiries related to spend and supplier data - Recommend catalog adjustments and new catalogs to Client based on analysis - Implement changes to hosted catalogs and new hosted catalogs as requested or approved by the Client Qualifications we seek in you: - Graduate with experience in Procurement Function - Basic analytical and problem-solving skills - Stakeholder management experience - Good years of experience in a similar function Preferred qualifications/skills: - Experience with Coupa/Ariba is preferred Please note that the primary location for this role is in India, Jodhpur. This is a full-time position requiring a Bachelor's or equivalent degree.
