Senior Associate- Retail Credit Process & Controls

**Job Description:** As a Credit Initiation & Compliance Unit Reviewer at Mashreq, your role involves conducting thorough reviews of process, procedure, and policy related to RBG Credit products. Your primary goal is to ensure that all existing standards are being followed diligently, addressing operational, credit structural, and customer impact risks effectively. Your key responsibilities include: - Validating critical errors, process errors, and document errors. - Performing regular process quality checks as per the defined frequency and sampling strategy, providing feedback to minimize errors. - Ensuring prompt action on critical errors. - Recommending and overseeing the implementation of corrective action plans for continuous improvement. - Maintaining daily Management Information (MI) reports accurately and with integrity. Key Result Areas: - Reviewing credit processes and ensuring policy adherence. - Conducting process reviews at the agreed frequency as per the calendar to maintain a satisfactory audit rating. - Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance communication and acceptance of review findings. - Adhering to operational risk key indicators. - Meeting established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for critical processes with Unit dependency. - Conducting independent data analysis to detect instances of application fraud. - Taking timely actions on confirmed fraud cases like negative listing, card blocking, and updating MIS. - Performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system-related changes related to vigilance activities. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in any Retail Credit discipline. - Thorough knowledge of all Host systems and other operating systems within the bank. - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. This role requires a proactive approach to reviewing and enhancing credit processes, ensuring compliance with policies, and contributing to the continuous improvement of operational practices at Mashreq.,
