Job Description

Key Responsibilities Supporting our clients on multiple projects on investment banking mandates Preparing pitch books, industry reports, deals and peers screening, company profiles, macroeconomic updates and company focused discussion documents related to various industries. Preparing financial analysis including trading/ transaction comparable, operational/ financial benchmarking, valuation analysis, financial modeling etc. Operational/ financial benchmarking, valuation, public market information and performance ratio analysis Updates weekly/monthly capital market updates Meet project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure high client satisfaction” Conducting quality control check of the outgoing reports / packs Engage client independently on calls and e-mails Produce high quality informative and visually appealing presentations and deck Portfolio Management: Ability to manage and optimize portfolios of limited partnership interests, ensuring diversification and risk management. Assist in Portfolio management, quarterly and annual portfolio reporting. Market Insight: Deep knowledge of the private equity market, including trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape. Market and industry research on both a primary and secondary research basis. Valuation Expertise : Proficiency in valuing private equity fund interests and understanding the intricacies of different valuation methods. Run financial models for underlying companies (asset operating models, LBO) and fund level returns. Due Diligence: Expertise in conducting thorough due diligence to assess the quality and potential of fund interests being traded. Manage interactions with buyers and respond to due diligence inquiries and contribute to client relationship management and deal origination initiatives. Quantitative and qualitative due diligence on leveraged buyout, venture capital and other private equity limited partnership interests and their underlying company investments. Analytical Skills : Participate in evaluation and analysis of secondary transactions and assets across stages (i.e. buyout, venture, growth equity, etc.), industries and geographies. Ability to analyse complex financial data and market conditions to make informed investment decisions. Construct an opinion around various investment opportunities and efficiently communicate it both verbally and in written materials. Reports: Prepare and present investment memos, transaction related documents and marketing materials to the Investment Committee. Exposure to all stages of GP-led/ LP-led secondary transactions, supporting deal execution and process management. Key Competencies Post-Graduation in Finance or equiv. qualification (CFA, MBA (finance), CA or equiv.) 4+ years of experience in the Investment banking space Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience in client relationship management Should be able to work independently with minimal guidance as the job requires working with senior leadership team at the client’s end Should be well versed with MS Office suite specially Microsoft Excel and Power Point (extensive use of excel models and powerpoint) Working knowledge of database such as Factset, Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, Thomson, etc.
