Job Description

Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from various sources (APIs, databases, files, streaming)
Cleanse, transform, and integrate raw data into usable formats for downstream analytics and machine learning applications
Develop and manage data storage solutions such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse
Optimize data processing workflows and database performance to ensure minimal latency and high availability
Implement data validation, logging, lineage, and monitoring to ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance
Use orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Luigi, or cloudnative schedulers to automate data workflows and processes
Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions
Maintain thorough documentation and follow engineering best practices, including version control, CI/CD, and testing
Stay updated on emerging tools, trends, and technologies in the data engineering landscape to improve system performance and team productivity
