Senior Associate, People Services (P&C Hub)

Key Responsibilities: - Process compliance filings and conduct audits for all P&C Centers of Excellence, including Benefits - Manage CALA benefits escalations and administration - Update Ciena's intranet pages - Oversee the Freshdesk ticketing system for efficient case resolution - Handle employee queries related to People Connect policies and processes - Support employee engagement and relations - Collaborate with internal teams and external partners - Handle FSA/HSA fundings and ensure proper allocation - Resolve CALA benefits administration queries - Manage the Freshdesk ticketing system for efficient case resolution - Prepare employment contracts and ensure a seamless candidate experience - Ensure Background Checks are completed on time and follow up with the agency for closure of insufficiencies - Maintain documentation filing in a SOX/ISO compliant manner - Provide Workday support to employees/managers and execute Workday actions - Propose initiatives to enhance the employee experience with HR by identifying and recommending solutions for service delivery improvement Qualifications Required: - Strong Excel and PC skills - Ability to problem solve with critical thinking skills - Strong follow-through and good judgment - Effective communication skills - Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Quick learner with a preference for administrative tasks - Strong initiative Additional Company Details: At Ciena, the company is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where employees are respected, valued, and heard.
