Senior Associate, Middle Office

The Position:

Middle Office Team is responsible for confirmation, settlement, collateral and wire processing post execution of trades including for listed and OTC securities. Job requires to communicate with various stakeholders, working closely with Traders, Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Administrators, trade support teams, Custodians and Brokers as part of middle office coverage. Job would also require analysing and understand settlement risks across markets.

You re Profile:

• 2-6 years of experience in trades confirmation, settlement and/or collateral processing
• Job requires to fully understand trade life cycle and trade economics
• Expected to have good understanding of settlements (Fails management, Pre-matching & Depot/Nostro reconciliation) process, Swift formats
• It is prudent to ensure timely settlement of trades to avoid settlement delay costs
• To have good understanding of Bilateral and triparty collateral, VM and IA calculations
• To have good understanding of documents like ISDA, CSA, Control agreement etc.
• Able to make recommendations on process improvements and control enhancements
• Expected to hold good working relationships with all stakeholders
• Resolve all queries and exceptions in relation with relevant Teams in timely manner and, escalate in timely manner
• Knowledge of CTM, Alert, Geneva application, broker/custodian web portals would be an added advantage.
• Preferred Graduate or master s
• Fluent in English (Oral and written communication)
• Ability to learn quickly and adaptability in a face pace work environment

• Shift - Night Shift US - time zone coverage (7:00PM - 4:00AM IST indicative shift
