Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain
DB2 databases
, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
Perform
basic performance tuning
, query optimization, and troubleshoot database issues.
Work closely with development and support teams to implement and maintain
Python-based
tools and scripts for data handling.
Use
GitHub
for version control and code management.
Perform
basic Unix/Linux operations and scripting
.
Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and timelines.
Continuously learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as per project and business needs.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in
DB2 database administration and development
.
Good understanding of
database concepts
, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
Proficiency in
Python scripting
for automation and tool development.
Hands-on experience with
GitHub
for version control.
Knowledge of
basic Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting

Strong
analytical and debugging
skills.
Quick learner and self-motivated with a proactive attitude.

Preferred/Good to Have:

Exposure to
Snowflake
and
MS SQL Server

Experience in data migration or working with cloud-based databases is a plus.
