Job Description

As a Senior Associate at our Gurugram office, you will be responsible for Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, and managing audits of various legal entities within the group. Your role will involve preparing accounting entries for Fixed Assets, Leases, Stock Based Compensation, Debt, and more. You will review entries prepared by staff accountants, conduct detailed financial analysis, prepare month-end reconciliations, and monitor intercompany transactions. Additionally, you will assist in managing statutory audits, evaluating internal controls, and identifying improvement opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare accounting entries for various functions such as Fixed Assets, Leases, Stock Based Compensation, and more. - Review entries prepared by staff accountants and oversee their day-to-day tasks. - Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. - Ensure timely preparation and review of month-end reconciliations. - Monitor and manage intercompany transactions for proper elimination in consolidated financial statements. - Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS, Indian GAAP, and internal policies. - Manage statutory audits for subsidiaries and evaluate internal controls for necessary changes. - Assist in simplification, standardization, and optimization of processes. - Assess and implement changes due to new accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant with 2+ years of post-qualification experience. - Preference for IFRS Diploma holder or pursuing IFRS Diploma from ACCA London. - Experience in accounting advisory at big 6 public accounting firms or global capability centers preferred. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles including IFRS, Indian GAAP, and exposure to US GAAP. - Ability to mentor junior team members, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Workday Financials ERP is an added advantage. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across global time zones.
