Senior AI Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end

  data & AI pipelines

  using

  Azure Databricks

• Build scalable

  ETL/ELT pipelines

  using

  PySpark and SQL

• Integrate Databricks with

  Azure services

  (ADLS Gen2, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions)
• Implement and manage

  CI/CD pipelines

  for Databricks jobs, notebooks, and workflows
• Optimize pipelines for

  performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency

• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Platform teams to move

  ML & GenAI models to production

• Implement

  logging, monitoring, governance, and error handling

  for production workloads
• Support

  LLM-based solutions

  including

  Embeddings, RAG pipelines, and inference workflows

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Azure Databricks

  (Jobs, Workflows, Clusters, Unity Catalog preferred)
• Expert-level

  Python

  with heavy

  PySpark

  usage
• Advanced

  SQL

  (complex joins, window functions, analytical queries)
• Solid experience with

  Azure Cloud services

  (ADLS Gen2, ADF, Key Vault, IAM)
• Experience with

  CI/CD pipelines

  and environment promotion (Azure DevOps preferred)
• Strong understanding of

  ML lifecycle, MLOps, and production deployments

• Experience deploying models using

  MLflow

• Hands-on with

  Machine Learning

  concepts and workflows

Good to Have

• Experience with

  Generative AI / LLMs / RAG / Embeddings

• Exposure to

  LangChain, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face

• Terraform / ARM / Bicep

  (Infrastructure as Code)
• Airflow or

  Azure Data Factory (ADF)

  orchestration
• Production monitoring and

  cost optimization
