Senior Architect

Role & responsibilities

Lead the design process from concept to detailed drawings and execution.

Meet clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget.

Develop concept designs, 2D drawings, and 3D visualizations.

Prepare working drawings, GFCs, and BOQs in collaboration with structural and MEP teams.

Ensure design adherence to local by-laws, building codes, and project specifications.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and vendors during execution stages.

Conduct periodic site visits to monitor design implementation and resolve on-site challenges.

Review drawings and guide junior architects, interns, and draftsmen.

Present design ideas and proposals to clients and management.

Stay updated with modern materials, technologies, and sustainable design trends.

Requirements:

Qualification: B.Arch (Mandatory); M.Arch preferred.

Experience: 5-10 years in residential architectural design (preferably individual houses/villas).

Software Skills: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, Photoshop, and MS Office.

Knowledge: Local building regulations, Vaastu (preferred), and green building concepts.

Other Skills: Excellent design sense, communication, client handling, and leadership abilities.
