Senior Application Support Engineer

Role : Senior Specialist Application/ Production Support Years of Experience : 7 10 Years Skills : Devops tools (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker etc..), Azure, IaC, Linux, SQL, CICD, Shell scripting Location : Hyderabad Notice Period : Up to 15 days Shift : Rotational Shifts (24/7 Support) Description: At least 7+ years of experience in production support or system administration. Ability to develop and maintain complex automation scripts for monitoring, deployment, and maintenance tasks. Expert-level troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues and incidents in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to lead and mentor junior team members. In-depth experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform. Ability to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including automation and infrastructure as code (IaC). Experience with Oracle, SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases. Capable of troubleshooting database performance issues, performing backups, and ensuring data integrity. Knowledge of both frontend and backend technology stacks for effective debugging and collaboration with development teams. Proficiency with Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems. Advanced experience with cloud platforms such as Azure / Azure DevOps. Ability to lead shift rotations and coordinate efforts across teams. Strong documentation skills for support activities, playbooks, and knowledge sharing. Good to Have Skills Experience with tools like Git, Bitbucket, or other version control systems. Familiarity with tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, or Prometheus for monitoring and alerting. Proficiency in Perl, Java, Python, JavaScript, and Shell scripting. Exposure to Agile frameworks and DevSecOps principles. Relevant certifications in Azure i.e., Azure Administrator Associate, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills. Ability to effectively handle high-pressure situations.
