We are looking for a Senior Research Analyst to join the JLL Research team as part of the JBS Insight & Analysis team for Capital Markets JLL supports the Whole You, personally and professionally. The Senior Research Analyst will be part of a growing team of capital market researchers who will monitor country/city real estate markets across various property sectors and industries. The Capital Markets Senior Research Analyst will contribute to best-in-class research that differentiates JLL and provides a competitive advantage in the marketplace. The Senior Research Analyst will leverage proprietary JLL data and source, update and validate third party data relevant to the global capital markets business line. The Senior Research Analyst will collaborate with our Research teams across the world to produce regular quarterly market overviews and contribute to thought leadership publications and other content developed by the Research team. The role will require strong data and analysis skills, and a basic understanding of the commercial property market, economy and geography, and industry sectors. The successful candidate will be expected to support all Capital Markets research teams globally depending on need and capacity. What this job involves: Interest in real estate with a strong commitment to learning micro and macro level market dynamics with a particular focus on investment trends in property markets, both listed and unlisted elements. Source and update, validate, analyse, and visualize data on the global/regional/countrys/citys commercial (and residential) real estate investment market, including data related to pricing, buyers and sellers, capital flows, financial metrics, debt and equity analytics and performance data. Source and update data on the global capital markets with a focus on regional and specified countrys macro and micro economic environment related to investment and capital markets specifically. Contribute to the ongoing digitisation of capital markets data through new technological initiatives at the global/regional/country level with a focus on improving data quality and reporting efficiencies. Leveraging proprietary JLL data and third-party data sources, produce standard Research deliverables including monthly/quarterly market Insights, market overview PowerPoint decks, and short/medium/long form reports as requested by clients and internal JLL business partners. Combine JLLs capital markets data with external data sources to improve overall market knowledge for the researchers across JLL, including the regular efficient dissemination of internal and external data and information. Contribute to thought leadership and research content developed by Research teams (locally/regionally & globally) through sharing data and contributing market knowledge and information where relevant to drive client engagement and business growth. Support the business development process by delivering property and sector insights in various formats including slide decks with a focus on capital market activity. Support ongoing and new client Research Advisory mandates through market analysis and development of end products for the client. Develop strong relationships and collaborate effectively with the Capital Markets Research lead and researchers in the regional/country teams to effectively understand the markets and develop the appropriate end products. Organized, methodical and proactive, with strong ability to multitask, be resilient and effectively manage time and workload independently. Strong analytical skills and ability to manipulate and interpret data. Collaborative attitude and willingness to both work independently and as part of a dynamic matrixed organization. 2-4 years professional experience can be in economics, consulting, real estate, economic development, urban planning, or other related fields. Strong quantitative skillset, including Excel skills, with ability to identify new insights and trends through data analytics. Experience working with information systems, data, and reporting. Excellent command of Microsoft office tools (excel, PowerPoint etc). Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Desirable: Experience with data visualization tools and platforms. Experience in commercial real estate. Bachelors degree in real estate, Economics, Urban planning, Geography, Social Science, or a related discipline. Existing knowledge of information research tools.
