Senior Analyst I

As a Senior Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to conduct transaction monitoring and research on customers identified as "high risk" by our financial institution clients in compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) programs. This includes assessing potential suspicious activities on assigned accounts, detecting data anomalies related to AML initiatives and regulations, and collaborating with the Compliance Unit and other departments to ensure effective implementation of AML and transaction analysis processes. Additionally, you will be expected to work with various data sources and analytical tools, contribute to a team-oriented environment, and adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of AML experience or an Associates Degree with 3 or more years of AML experience. Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word are essential. The ideal candidate will also possess CAMS certification, knowledge of banking industry regulations, and a proactive and collaborative mindset. In terms of working hours, the core business hours are typically 8:00am to 5:00pm, but flexibility is required as the position may involve work outside of normal hours to accommodate operations in different time zones.
