You will participate in projects related to applying statistical and machine learning models to solve current business needs, generate complex data pulls, and create innovative reports and data visualizations. The team supports and collaborates with multiple departments within the company on business intelligence, analytics, and performance metrics. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and maintain robust, reusable reports, dashboards, and analytical tools for Pricing and Yield Management teams - Influence the direction of Revenue Management through data analysis, reports, process improvement, and competitive analysis - Develop, enhance, and maintain tools to improve decision-making processes and enhance self-service analytics - Write efficient SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, and analyze large, multi-source data sets - Design and present data mining and big data-oriented solutions for current business needs - Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through automation and contribute to innovation projects - Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and deliver accurate solutions aligned with business needs - Actively participate in documentation efforts to organize and maintain updated data definitions and report specifications - Provide production support, including maintenance to existing reports, troubleshooting, and issue resolution **Qualification Required:** **Minimum Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in business, Engineering, or a related field - 4+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or a data-driven role - Experience working with cloud data platforms **Preferred Qualifications:** - Previous experience within airline, travel, e-commerce, or a related field - Experience using dashboarding tools like Tableau or Power BI with live complex data sources - Experience with workflow automation and exposure to AI and emerging technologies - Flexible and capable of working effectively with people of diverse backgrounds **Additional Details:** American Airlines values inclusion and diversity, with a focus on connecting team members to customers, suppliers, communities, and shareholders.
