Senior Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a Sr. Analyst to join our Supplier Management Shared Service Centre team who will be responsible for optimizing procurement master data operations with a strategic focus on catalog management, purchasing info records (PIR), and ECC contract data. The role drives data accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency by leveraging automation, AI, and data analytics to enable seamless sourcing, purchasing, and supplier collaboration.

This is a full-time position based in Chakan, Pune

What you will do

• Process Improvement & Automation

• Design and implement

  automated workflows

  for procurement and catalog operations. (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
• Proven experience in

  SAP ECC

  modules, especially in

  Contracts, PIR (Purchase Info Records), and Catalog Management

  .
• Map and improve business processes using

  Lean Six Sigma

  and other optimization techniques.
• Ability to design and implement

  automated workflows

  for

  Contracts, PIR (Purchase Info Records), and Catalog Management

  .
• Analyze data using

  Power BI

  ,

  Python

  , and

  Excel VBA

  to find improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
• Lead data-centric projects that support procurement transformation initiatives.

• Catalog Management & Optimization

• Maintain and enhance item catalogs with accurate descriptions, pricing, and supplier linkage.
• Implement automated catalog updates and AI-driven classification to improve searchability and user experience.

• Purchasing Info Records (PIR) Management

• Create and manage PIRs to ensure accurate material-vendor linkage.
• Use predictive analytics to identify anomalies and optimize pricing strategies.

• ECC Contract Data Governance

• Set up and maintain contract master data in SAP ECC to ensure compliant and cost-effective purchasing.
• Integrate AI tools to monitor contract utilization and flag inconsistencies.

• Data Quality & Governance

• Drive data consistency across procurement platforms (SAP ECC, Ariba, MDG etc.).
• Establish automated data validation rules and dashboards for real-time monitoring.

We believe you have

• Full Time Bachelors/Masters degree in any Business, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement master data management, preferably in SAP ECC.
• Strong expertise in catalog management, PIRs, and contract data.
• Proficiency in SAP ECC, Excel, and procurement tools; Ariba and SAP HANA are a plus.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., RPA), data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and AI-based solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for digital transformation.
