Senior AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI and ML solutions using Azure OpenAI Service (GPT-4/4o, embeddings, fine-tuning).
• Build and manage Copilot solutions using Copilot Studio and Power Platform, integrating with enterprise systems.
• Develop RAG-based applications using vector databases, embeddings, Azure AI Search, and document pipelines.
• Implement scalable ML pipelines using Python, Azure ML, and Azure-native services.
• Own end-to-end MLOps including model versioning, CI/CD, monitoring, retraining, and governance.
• Integrate AI solutions with APIs, data platforms (Databricks, Synapse, MS Fabric), and business applications.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and product teams to build AI-driven data products.
• Ensure security, compliance, and responsible AI practices across solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay current with advancements in LLMs, GenAI frameworks, and Azure AI services.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of overall experience in software engineering, AI, or ML.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI Service and LLM-based solution development.
• Proven experience with Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Copilot extensibility.
• Advanced Python programming for AI/ML applications.
• Solid experience in ML-Ops (CI/CD, model lifecycle management, monitoring).
• Experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
• Strong understanding of Azure ecosystem (Azure ML, Azure AI Search, App Services, Functions).
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with data platforms such as Databricks, Synapse, MS Fabric is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar GenAI frameworks.
• Exposure to fine-tuning and evaluation of LLMs.
• Experience working in regulated or large enterprise environments.
• Azure certifications (Azure AI Engineer, Azure Data Scientist) are a plus
