Job Description

Design and deploy new database servers under minimal guidance according to the client requirements
High Availability a
Troubleshooting of High availability issues, under guidance \/ SOP
Configure Database Mirroring and Log shipping c
Communicate with L3 support for any issue
Enterprise Management Tools - Native a
Perform administrative jobs of database using enterprise management tool b
Independently configure OEM on any OS platform

Independently troubleshoot any issues with the Listeners, connect strings and sqlnet
ora file Backup\/Recovery a
Perform back up \/ recovery under minimal guidance \/ using SOP b
Proactive monitoring and administration of RMAN utility and its various parameters
Administer and alter security and audit parameters under guidance
Manage different parameters used in Password file Database Migration\/Upgradation a
Move the logins or individual database objects to the newer versions of various database versions and fix the compatibility levels feasibility between older versions and the new ones b
Identify performance bottlenecks arising out of network issue & troubleshoot using networking add-on solutions
Performance Tuning a
Populate data into database tables using PL\/SQL scripts according to business requirements

Checking CPU consumption, IO Consumption and memory consumption of Database Servers
