Senior Actuarial Analyst

This position in Delhi / Bangalore / Pune involves taking ownership of actuarial responsibilities for the Assumption setting process, Experience Studies, and Cash Flow Testing of Employee Benefits, as well as coordinating the Closed Block Life product. Responsibilities include conducting experience studies, analyzing trends, interpreting data, explaining drivers of changes, and analyzing impacts on various metrics due to assumption changes. Additionally, the role involves providing support for cash flow testing, responding to auditors" requests, building relationships, collaborating effectively, diagnosing problems, and designing solutions for business improvement. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related discipline, along with an ASA or newly credentialed FSA. A minimum of 3-5 years of actuarial, financial, or insurance industry experience is required, with specific experience in Employee Benefits or life insurance. Proficiency in Excel, Access, and Visual Basic is essential, along with strong analytical skills, advanced knowledge of actuarial statistics, and the ability to develop efficient solutions. Effective communication, understanding of insurance products, and the capability to challenge current methodologies are also crucial for this role.
