Senior Accounts Executive

As an experienced Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of month-end closing procedures, including preparing account reconciliations and posting journal entries. Additionally, you will support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses. Your role will also involve preparing monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, analyzing financial statement accounts for accuracy, and calculating monthly sales commissions. Key Responsibilities: - Perform month-end closing procedures such as account reconciliations and journal entry postings - Support the preparation of financial statements and reports - Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations - Analyze financial statement accounts for accuracy and identify unusual trends or errors - Calculate monthly sales commissions - Handle royalty reporting and compliance - Reconcile cost of sales and gross margin between ERP system and GL - Provide account analysis for balance sheet accounts - Assist the Accounting Team with onboarding new clients and special projects - Collaborate effectively with the USA/India Team Qualifications: - Masters Degree in Commerce or Chartered Accountant Intermediate Cleared preferred - 5 years of corporate accounting experience in a large corporation - Experience as a Senior Accountant in wholesale or manufacturing industry is a plus - Knowledge of manufacturing, apparel, jewelry, and accessories industry is beneficial - Public accounting experience is advantageous - Familiarity with US GAAP - Excellent communication skills - Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks In addition to the above, you are expected to possess high energy and enthusiasm, with a strong commitment to exceeding client expectations. You should have excellent analytical, technical, and accounting skills, as well as advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organization skills are essential for this role, along with a keen attention to detail.
