Senior Accountant - UK Accounts

As a Senior Accountant at JAKS & Associates located in Kochi, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team specializing in accounting and financial outsourcing services, primarily focusing on UK accounts. You will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, conducting reconciliations, and providing valuable insights into financial performance to our clients. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the preparation of tax returns, mentoring junior staff, identifying process improvements for efficiency, and staying updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations affecting UK businesses. Your strong background in UK accounting practices, excellent analytical skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality financial services will be key assets in this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent, with a completed CA articleship or Intermediate along with 3 years of post articleship experience. Proficiency in accounting software like Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts while meeting deadlines are also required.
