Senior Accountant & Taxation Lead

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing end-to-end finance operations including accounting, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and taxation for the fast-growing e-commerce business. This hands-on role is suited for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives in a startup environment, and can handle multiple responsibilities until the finance team scales up. Key Responsibilities: - Own the full accounting cycle including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and marketplace settlements. - Ensure timely monthly book closure within T+5 days. - Perform monthly inventory audits. - Prepare MIS schedules and assist FP&A with financial reporting. - Support statutory and internal audits with accurate schedules and documentation. - File GST, TDS, Advance Tax accurately and within deadlines. - Handle GST reconciliations and manage multi-state GST implications. - Represent the company in tax audits/assessments and respond to notices. - Drive automation of reconciliations and vendor processes. - Contribute to ERP/Tally/Zoho migration and finance workflow digitization. Qualification Required: - Education: B. Com / M. Com with CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA (preferred). - Experience: 3-4 years in accounting + taxation, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or fast-paced startups. - Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Indian GAAP, and experience in handling statutory audits. - Proficiency in Tally and advanced Excel/Google Sheets. - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently. - Startup mindset - adaptable, hands-on, and execution-driven.,
