Job Description

As an Accountant in our company, your role will involve performing and coordinating accounting duties such as preparing financial analyses and reports, conducting accounting reconciliation, maintaining the general ledger, facilitating month/year-end closing, preparing tax returns, and handling other assigned accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Performing and coordinating accounting duties such as preparing financial analyses and reports - Conducting accounting reconciliation - Maintaining the general ledger - Facilitating month/year-end closing - Preparing tax returns - Handling other assigned accounting tasks Qualifications Required: - A Bachelors degree in accounting or finance - 3-5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role - Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures - In-depth understanding and working knowledge of tax laws and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Familiarity with financial accounting statements - Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process - Hands-on experience with accounting software packages - ERP and advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables Additionally, you should possess the following specific skill set: - Attention to detail and accuracy - Good verbal and written communication skills - Organisational skills - Information management - Problem-analysis and problem-solving skills - Ability to work well in a team - Stress tolerance - Sense of urgency - Tenacity - Customer service skills,
