We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly experienced Senior Accountant who can independently manage core Indian accounting operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Zoho Books, statutory compliance, vendor payments, audits, and end-to-end finance management.

Note: CA and pursuing-CA candidates are strictly NOT eligible for this role.

What You'll Do

• Handle core accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and reconciliations.
• Manage all Indian statutory payments: GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT
• Other compliance-related filings
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage vendor payments, vendor reconciliation, and maintaining accurate ledgers.
• Handle client invoicing, billing cycles, follow-ups, and collections.
• Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.
• Maintain updated and accurate financial records in Zoho Books.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
• Support payroll inputs, reimbursements, and monthly closing activities.
• Implement improved internal controls and ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards.
• Provide timely MIS reports and financial insights to management.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or master's degree in commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in core Indian accounting roles.
• Mandatory experience with Zoho Books (no exceptions).
• Strong understanding of Indian statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, and tax regulations.
• Experience in vendor management, reconciliations, and audit coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, financial analysis, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
