Job Description

Tally ERP

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Accounting Operations

  • Perform accurate

    accounts entry

    and ensure timely posting of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare and present

    daily MIS reports

    for management review.
  • Handle

    inventory posting

    in Tally ERP and maintain updated stock records.
  • Generate

    dispatch documents

    including Delivery Challan, Invoice, E-way Bills as per statutory requirements.
  • Verify

    Transit Insurance

    and prepare Export Invoice, Packing List & Challans for export shipments.
  • Coordinate with

    CHA

    and verify Shipping Bills and Bill of Lading.
  • Submit export documents to the bank for payment collection.
  • Post journal entries and manage

    monthly payroll processing

    .
  • Generate

    BRC

    after receipt of export payments and submit to customs.

2. Monthly Tax Compliance

  • Prepare, compute, and process

    TDS & TCS payments

    .
  • Prepare, pay, and file

    ESI returns

    ,

    Professional Tax

    , and

    Electricity Duty

    (if applicable).
  • Prepare and file

    EPF returns

    monthly.
  • Prepare, pay, and file

    GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)

    accurately.
  • Prepare and submit

    Export Council Returns

    .
  • Prepare and submit

    GPCB (Pollution Control Board) returns

    .
  • Process

    GIDC monthly payments

    including water charges.
  • Prepare and submit

    Stock Statements to Bank

    (if applicable).
  • Reconcile

    bank statements

    ,

    accounts payable

    , and

    accounts receivable

    .

3. Quarterly & Half-Yearly Compliance

  • Coordinate with auditors for quarterly

    TDS/TCS return filing

    .
  • Process and file

    Labour Welfare Fund

    payments and returns.

4. Annual Compliance & Audit Support

  • Prepare accurate

    financial statements

    including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow.
  • Handle

    GSTR-9 & GSTR-9C annual returns

    .
  • Assist external auditors during audits with required data and documents.
  • Follow up with auditors on

    Income Tax

    and

    ROC

    filings.
  • File annual returns with

    Factory Act

    and

    Labour Department

    .
  • Renew

    Weighing Scale licenses

    and maintain compliance.

5. Internal Controls & Coordination

  • Monitor income and expenses and proactively update management.
  • Supervise and guide

    junior accountants

    .
  • Communicate regularly with customers and suppliers for account reconciliation.
  • Monitor timely renewal of statutory licenses and registrations.
  • Ensure strong internal controls and adherence to accounting standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in

    Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

    .
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in

    accounting & compliance

    in a manufacturing/export company.
  • Proficiency in

    Tally ERP

    , MS Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of

    GST, TDS, Payroll, Export Documentation, Bank Reconciliation

    .
  • Excellent understanding of

    statutory compliance

    and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and work independently.
