Job Description

Chemical/Ceramic Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and understand
raw material compositions
, chemical properties, and material characteristics.
Ensure accurate material weighing and adherence to defined
composition standards
.
Record, analyze, and interpret process data (e.g.,
moisture content, bulk density, apparent porosity, shrinkage percentage
) using MS Excel; generate production and performance reports.
Monitor and troubleshoot the
drying process
to minimize breakage and ensure optimal product quality.
Support and participate in
post-production processes
, including cutting, grinding, chamfering, and other finishing activities for ceramic rollers.
Collaborate with production teams to maintain process efficiency and ensure adherence to
quality control
standards.
Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance
product consistency, efficiency, and yield
.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Degree in
Ceramic Engineering, Chemical Engineering
, or a related field.
0 - 2 years
of experience in a manufacturing or process industry environment (preferred).
Freshers with strong technical aptitude are also encouraged to apply.
Strong knowledge of
mixing, extrusion, drying, and firing processes
.
Ability to troubleshoot process issues and optimize material handling methods.
Proficiency in
MS Excel
for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setup.
Willingness to work
flexible hours
and respond to operational requirements or emergencies.
