Job Summary

Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company accounting policies
Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll entries
Support internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Guide and review the work of junior accountants

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA / CA / ACCA (preferred or in progress)
5–10 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar)
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
