Senior Accountant

As a Chief Accountant at our organization, you will be responsible for leading our finance and accounting function with a focus on complete ownership of accounts, statutory compliance, reporting, and financial discipline. Key Responsibilities: - Head and manage complete company accounts independently - Ensure accurate maintenance of books, ledgers, and financial records - Handle GST, Income Tax, TDS, and all statutory filings with zero delays - Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow statements - Manage audits, tax assessments, and liaison with auditors & consultants - Implement financial controls, cost monitoring, and process improvements - Guide and supervise the accounting team for accuracy and compliance - Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial decisions Qualifications & Skills: - Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience at a senior level - Strong hands-on expertise in GST, taxation, and compliance - Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel - Experience in retail/wholesale/manufacturing accounting preferred - High level of integrity, ownership, and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and handle pressure during closures In addition to the challenging and rewarding responsibilities, we offer a leadership role with direct management interaction in a stable and growth-oriented organization.
