Senior Accountant Contract

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with over 5 years of experience to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing our Indian accounting operations, including statutory compliances, as well as handling specific international accounts (Saudi) and providing support to our Dubai-based team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in purchase management, vendor payments, and the financial aspects of logistics and warehousing. This is an urgent, in-office position requiring a proactive individual who can manage end-to-end accounting functions independently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **Indian Accounting & Compliance:**

* Manage all day-to-day accounting tasks for Indian operations.

* Ensure timely and accurate entries for all transactions.

* Handle all statutory compliances, including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other regulatory filings.

* Prepare and process all necessary payments for statutory dues.

* **Purchase & Vendor Management:**

* Oversee the entire purchase management cycle, from purchase orders to invoice verification.

* Manage and process all vendor payments in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

* Handle vendor reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.

* **International Accounts & Collaboration:**

* Manage and maintain the books of accounts for our Saudi operations.

* Provide active support and required financial data to the Dubai accountant.

* Assist with inter-company reconciliations and reporting.

* **Logistics & Warehousing:**

* Handle all accounting related to warehousing, including inventory valuation and reconciliation.

* Manage logistics tracking from a financial perspective, monitoring costs and ensuring accurate recording.

* **Reporting & Audits:**

* Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and other reports as required.

* Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com), or CA Inter.

* Proven 5+ years of experience in a comprehensive accounting role.

* Strong, hands-on knowledge of Indian accounting standards and statutory compliances (GST, TDS, etc.).

* Demonstrable experience in purchase management and end-to-end vendor payment processing.

* Experience handling international accounts (experience with Middle East, specifically Saudi accounts, is a strong plus).

* Prior experience in handling accounting for logistics or warehousing is highly desirable.

* Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or other similar accounting software/ERP.

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.

* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
