About the Opportunity

At Nextskilledge, we’re on the lookout for high-performing Academic Counsellors who have experience engaging with working professionals and senior learners interested in Doctorate-level programs. If you're passionate about consultative sales, career guidance, and higher education, and have at least a year of experience in the UK/US education or edtech market, we’d love to connect.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Counsel mid-to-senior-level professionals exploring Doctorate/PhD/DBA programs via inbound & outbound channels.
• Conduct career-focused consultations tailored to each learner's academic and professional journey.
• Convert leads into enrolments through structured follow-ups and expert guidance.
• Build strong rapport with prospects by understanding their aspirations and aligning them with the right academic path.
• Maintain accurate records of consultations and conversions in the CRM.
• Consistently achieve monthly enrolment and revenue targets.

What We’re Looking For

• 1-2 years of experience in academic counselling, preferably with exposure to Doctorate or Postgraduate program sales.
• Strong understanding of Doctorate application procedures, accreditation, and online program delivery.
• Proven experience working with international clients, especially UK-based or HNI learners.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative sales skills.
• A self-driven, organized, and target-oriented mindset.
• Bachelor's degree is mandatory; Master’s degree is an advantage.

Preferred Profiles

• Professionals with experience in Edtech, Universities, or Global Higher Education Counselling.
• Prior experience handling Doctorate/Executive education (PhD, DBA, EdD) programs.
• Candidates familiar with UK academic standards and market expectations.
