Roles and Responsibilities

• Drafting submissions for faceless assessment and appeal proceedings, penalty submissions before AO, Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeal) and ITAT.
• Representing before AO and various other authorities for assessment and appeal proceedings.
• Preparing, vetting and filing return of incomes and TDS returns for individuals, partnership firms, HUF, companies etc.
• Responding to letters and making compliances to queries of department Annual income tax return.
• Providing advisory over domestic / International Taxation / Transfer pricing matters.
• Preparing & Advising on form 15 CA/CB for various clients.
• Advisory and planning over tax structures and evaluating the taxability for the structures.
• Obtaining Lower Deduction Certificate u/s 197/195.
• Assist in statutory and tax audits.
• Prepare working papers, audit schedules, and required documentation.
• Support preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow) under supervision.
• Perform account reconciliations (receivables, payables, bank, etc.).
• Assist in compliance tasks: GST, TDS, Income Tax return filings.
• Conduct research on accounting standards, tax regulations, and company law.
• Participate in client meetings and liaise with auditors / tax authorities.
• Prepare MIS / management reports / variance analyses.
• Support in audit closure, including coordinating with other offices or team members.
