Job Description

We are looking for a potential partner who could independently handle Direct Tax related assignments of the firm. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant having more than 10 years of experience in the area of Tax in the practicing firm.

The candidate/potential partner would be responsible for the following:

Overseeing client taxation matters and ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner.
Advising clients on complex tax matters and international tax issues relating to cross border transactions, Indian corporate tax issues etc.
Lead tax engagements. Effectively manage team on submissions, assessment and appeal hearings before the CIT(A) and Tribunals.
Proactively advising clients on strategic issues and providing them with a perspective on global trends and emerging practices significant to their business operations
Ensure standards and procedures maintained by whole team.
Identify and capitalizing on opportunities and prospects for new work.
Business development, including working with colleagues in other teams.
