Selenium Automation Test Engineer

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java . Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth and high-quality releases. Review and analyze user stories, business requirements, and technical specs to develop comprehensive test strategies. Write, execute, and maintain clear and reusable test cases for both manual and automated testing . Report defects clearly, track issues through resolution, and validate fixes. Continuously improve testing frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency. Stay updated on the latest testing tools, trends, and methodologies to ensure best practices. Requirements and Skills: Proven experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java for automation testing (4+ years preferred). Hands-on knowledge of TestNG, JUnit , and Cucumber . Experience in the banking or financial services domain is required . Familiarity with version control tools such as Git . Understanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
