Who should apply

We are not looking for general translators, freelancers, or content writers. We are looking for the top 1% of academic and cultural experts who meet all the following:

·        Native-level fluency in Punjabi (reading and writing)

·        Strong proficiency in English (to review and critique AI-generated content)

·        PhD, MPhil, or Master’s degree is preferred, but credible, extensive experience in the field is also valued.

Punjabi sports history, local games, physical culture, or recreational practices

Based in Punjab

·        Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.

Your Role? Teach AI About India’s Sporting Heritage and Recreational Practices Through Your Regional Language.

·        Craft context-rich prompts based on traditional and modern sports, local games, athlete narratives, and regional recreation in Punjabi to challenge state-of-the-art AI models

·        Evaluate model outputs for accuracy, cultural relevance, tone and regional specificity

·        Identify blind spots and weaknesses in current AI’s understanding Punjab’s diverse sporting heritage—from kabaddi and wrestling to hockey fandom and regional tournaments

·        Collaborate with an international team shaping how AI understands Punjabi language and the socio-cultural fabric of recreation, games, and physical expression
