Who should apply

We are not looking for content writers or casual food enthusiasts. We are looking for India’s most knowledgeable voices—those who understand not just recipes, but the deep roots of culinary identity, history, and language.

You should meet most or all of the following:

• Native fluency in one or more of the following (reading and writing):

- Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, or Punjabi

• Strong command of English (for prompt interpretation and evaluation)
• Academic or professional background in Indian food history, culinary culture, hotel/restaurant management, gastronomy, food anthropology, or food writing
• PhD or Master’s degree is preferred, but credible practical experience as a regional food expert, food blogger, culinary reviewer, or influencer
• Passion for accuracy, depth, and preserving linguistic and culinary authenticity

• Based in the respective state/region

  where the language is natively spoken
• Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.

Your Role? Teach AI to Understand the Deep Roots of Indian Cuisine - From Regional Flavors to Culinary Heritage.

• Create culturally rich prompts in your native language to challenge state-of-the-art AI models—from festive feasts to forgotten recipes, spice vocabularies to food metaphors
• Evaluate model outputs for accuracy, cultural relevance, tone and regional specificity
• Evaluate AI outputs for misinterpretations, simplifications, or stereotypes—whether it’s confusing a sambar with a dal, flattening the layers of spice logic, or failing to recognize the ritual significance behind fasting and feasting
• Collaborate with a global team to build AI that doesn’t just know Indian cuisine—but respects, reflects, and celebrates its complexity
